Hello, I haven't been in Vietnam but I heard some stories about the "wilderness" on the roads. I'm speaking about many and many bikes which ride in every directions!!!Anyway, in my opinion, rent a car could be a good way to explore also many others places far away from the normal paths and then sometimes you could sleep inside it. You can try to take a look to the avaibility of a car on the international cars companies websites like Avis, Hertz or Europe Car!
