Brazil. My first intercontinental journey brings me to discovery one of the richest countries in biodiversity and natural beauty, as well as home of perhaps the most cheerful, "crazy" and most hospitable people there is. This is what I actually lived in this country: nature, majestic performances given from water, animals and plants, jovial hospitality, sincere and moving... But also poverty, misery, injustice and violence, unfortunately, always present in the large metropolises. The immensity of this nation-continent forced me to limit my itinerary together with a friend, to southern regions only, without reaching either the Amazon rainforest or the beautiful (at least they say so) coastal areas close to Salvador de Bahia. Anyway I was able to enjoy an exciting journey, with new visions and encounters that will remain forever in my heart and eyes...

The way has led me from Sao Paulo to the Far South to visit the Iguacu falls, on the border with Paraguay and Argentina, and then back insidetp live an exciting week immersed in the Pantanal, a vast swamp rich with flora and fauna, where survive, yet with the same way of life that they led 100 years ago, the "Gauchos". From plain, rich in natural beauty, we have moved to the mountain, the guardian of past wealth and cradle of miners-dreamers in search of fortune almost never came. The circle closure has completed with a visit to Rio de Janeiro and the Atlantic coast between the carioca city and S. Paulo.
