Travel is something that has always accompanied mankind, since its appearing on Earth. Initially it was out of necessity: to find food, to escape predators (yes, the man once was prey, not just ruthless predator!). To search for new agricultural land or new areas where settle.

Even today there are people who live a nomadic life and are unable to adapt to a sedentary life (how many suffering and damage they are forced to suffer for their lifestyle, free of rigid patterns). In Western society for centuries now we live a stationary life and traveling has taken different meanings: conquest, exploration, migration, work, holiday.
The distance (not only physical), the lack of mutual knowledge and little dialogue often lead to conflict, whether it is a small argument between a few people, whether they are the major wars between states, ethnic groups, religions. Travel enables to confront, reduces distances and overcomes prejudices and preconceptions, expanding our horizons and calling into question our own truth and certainty, enabling to smooth our edges and reducing conflicts.
Until now I have had the good luck to travel much for passion and pleasure doing it with the most diverse transport: on foot and by bus, with the backpacker, mountain bike, by car, by train, by plane .. . I am sure i saw and traveled little of our magnificent planet and I hope never to stop exploring it, but i have remained conscious of the fact that many lives would be required in order to know everything. This is another reason why I created "Life in Travel": to share my travel experiences in the hope that you want to do the same, filling some gaps that we all have in terms of knowledg e of the World.
