Rio Lagartos National park is in Mexico, in the state of Yucatan and it's famous in the world for the important biodiversity.
Along the river, which ends in Mexico gulf, you can visit this important park just by a boat trip. Mangrove forests and the mouth of the river are the ideal environment for pink flamingos, black eagle, pelicans, herons, cocodriles and many others animals.UNESCO world heritage site since 1979, it was protected to safeguard species which live here.
