I'm Leonardo, born in Valle di Non, the valley of apples, in Trento province, Italy. I am a lover of nature photography and adventure travels, especially with the bike.

Graduated in Environmental Engineering at the University of Trento, i love outdoor sports and  the quite of a relaxing stroll on the beautiful mountains of my region.

I was always passionate about travels, since, yet child, on summer we left behind the mountain peaks to reach by car, after exhausting but at the same time exciting trips, the paternal grandmother in Barcelona. After that experience, repeated several times, upon reaching the age of majority, just graduated, I approached my first "big trip" going to discover the south of Brasil.

Up to eighteen years I have practiced football at competitive levels but a knee injury made me know the pleasure of cycling in the woods riding mountain bikes. It has been suddenly great love that, combined with my desire to know the world, took me in '99 to address the rolling Tuscan hills on two wheels, in company of two friends. Enthusiast about the first experience in 2000 I felt the need to find larger spaces to ease my thirst of adventure: what better place that the boundless lands of Patagonia could satisfy myself?

The following year, my first and only, unhappy experience with organized tours in  Scotland on board a bus. Returned to Italy, I have dedicated myself to discover artistic Sicilian beauty (2002), returning to use a transport, the bicycle, more peaceful and relaxed as I love. In 2003 another trip brought me to discover the great parks of the West of the United States. In the following years studies have led me to overlook the faithful bicycle and loved travel, however sure to return in the adventure as soon as possible. In 2006, just obtained my degree I left for a brief but intense winter raid on two wheels in Corsica, solitary, making a loop on the island. The 2007 has been the year of the big decision: I left work (precarious, anyway!) at the university and have purchased a ticket to Australia, requiring a Working holiday visa  for one year. Therefore here are my Australian days and my trip around New Zealand, once again with a funny bicycle! In 2009 i travelled around Balcans by bicycle to discover their beauty and friendly people, while in 2010's winter i visited Turkey to see the beautiful Kappadokia, Pamukkale and Istanbul.. And so far, as regards my wander to the world, that's all, hoping to reach new places magnificent and learn about different cultures wherever possible ...

The other great passion with which you try to travel virtually within this space, is photography.

My photographic experience is recent and limited but the passion has always existed and also during my travel a little older camera was always present. True love blossomed, however, is only a couple of years ago, when I decided to buy a reflex used to immortalize the beautiful mountains of my region. The photos that you will find on this site is the result of a slow and tedious job of scanning prints and slides (thanks to the aid of my precious father) and please forgive me if at times the pictures quality is not good. Today, after a few hundred shots, I finally entered the digital world and I hope to further improve the quality of my photos to convey the best feelings experienced while traveling.

My name is Veronica but for everyone I'm Vero! I moved from the plain to the mountains and now I can't leave them anymore. Someone says I'm crazy, someone else that I'm a little funny and others say I'm out of order..probably I'm all this together!I love exploring mountains in every season and I like travelling..it makes me feel free and alive..Enjoy myself going around the landscapes with my old photocamera to take a lot of pictures too. Now I'm discovering a new beautiful way to explore the world: the bicycle and what would be a better place than southeast of Asia to do it?
